Bryson ‘The Golf Scientist’ DeChambeau Wins Web.com Finals Event, Earns PGA Tour Card

DeChambeau won the Web.com’s DAP Championship in a sudden death playoff to earn his PGA Tour card for the 2016-2017 season.

The one they call ‘The Golf Scientist’ for his unique approach to the game, sealed the deal with a victory over Andres Gonzales at Canterbury Country Club on Sunday. The 22-year-old shot a final round 71 to get himself into the playoff at the Web.com’s first of four final events.

Next year’s PGA Tour season should be a fun one with DeChambeau adding more entertaining youth to a tour already bursting at the seams with young studs .
