When the Team USA players were asked about strategy and playing for medals, Bubba Watson did not hold back with his honesty.

Watson says it’s situational and that he really wants to be on that podium with a medal around his neck when it’s all said and done.

Rickie Fowler gave us the what we wanted to hear as fans. He’s not going to play it safe by any means. Watson on the other hand, will be implementing a different strategy.

It’s a little shocking to hear at first. As a fan of the Olympics you really want to hear your country’s athletes talk about giving it all they got for the gold.

Watson did clarify a bit saying, “If you’re in third place, you’re going to try to make sure you don’t mess up and go to fourth real fast!”
