Jack Nicklaus (aka the GOAT) is a great follow on Instagram, and often sends along recipes excerpted from the Nicklaus Family Cookbook titled Well Done! (proceeds go to the Nicklaus Children’s Healthcare Foundation).

This is a drink recipe that Jack’s Dad used to make called “Tom and Jerry’s”.

Happy Holidays from our family to yours! Christmas Day was my Dad’s day to serve “Tom and Jerry's” to family and friends who stopped by to visit. I hope as you open your homes this week, you'll enjoy this holiday drink as much as our family does. This recipe is among hundreds featured in the Nicklaus family cookbook, “Well Done!”, available at nchcf.org and supporting the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation. Ingredients: 8 eggs, separated; 1 box 10x powdered sugar. Separate eggs. Beat egg whites until stiff, set aside. Mix egg yolks and powdered sugar. Beat until smooth. Gently stir in beaten egg whites. Fill a mug ¾ full with egg and sugar mixture. Add small amount of boiling water to fill mug. If desired, add a shot of liquor (scotch or whiskey). Stir gently. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Serve and enjoy! #nchcf @nchcf #welldonecookbook
