Heinous Vandalism at Maine Golf Course Results in 20 Burned Golf Carts

Maine state Fire Marshalls are investigating a fire that destroyed 20 golf carts at Summit Spring Gold Course.

Apparently this isn’t the first time this course has been hit by vandals. Most recently they were vandalized only a couple weeks ago resulting in some theft and a few greens that were torn up.

Here’s a sad exchange from the golf course and some of its regulars on Facebook:

Golf courses have had a tough go of it lately. A Texas golf course found an inappropriate quote spray-painted on one of their greens, and now this poor course in Maine finds itself with thousands of dollars in damage.
