Cristie Kerr posted a 6-under 65 on Saturday at TPC Kuala Lumpur and will take a one-shot lead into the final round of the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia.

Kerr made seven birdies on Saturday, including five during a bogey-free outward-nine start. After a three-putt for bogey on No. 10, Kerr recovered nicely with birdies on two of the next four holes to reach 15 under and the tournament lead.

“Im just going to enjoy it. I’m really blessed. I’m just going to try to not put too much pressure on myself,” said Kerr. “I didn’t hit it great coming in on the back but I didn’t stress about it. I just tried to do the best I could. That’s where I play my best golf from; I try to do the best on every shot, so that’s my mantra tomorrow.”

Second-round leader, and two-time Sime Darby champion, Shanshan Feng, posted a bogey-free 3-under-par 68.

Feng started her Saturday with birdies on Nos. 3 and 5, but then made just one more over the next 13 holes to finish at 14 under, one back of Kerr.

“Well, I felt like, actually today, it was really hot with no breeze. I almost felt like I was going down, but I tried my best,” said Feng. “I mean, my ball-striking wasn’t as accurate, but I think overall, 3-under, bogey-free round is still a very good score for Saturday.”

Sei Young Kim also posted a bogey-free round of 3-under 68, and is alone in third at 11 under.

“I played conservatively today. Not very aggressive play today. I had a couple birdie chance today, a little less than yesterday. It was good,” said Kim.

A pair of Americans, Stacy Lewis (66) and Jacqui Concolino (67), are tied at 10 under.

“Yeah, you can definitely feel what you need to do. I’m very entrenched in what I need to do is as far as hitting it the speed and starting it on line. God’s blessed me with this gift. I’m not going to second guess it.”
