Rory Makes First Taylormade Ad as Part of $100M Deal

Yesterday, Rory McIlroy signed a long term contract to play the full Taylormade bag, plus its golf ball. The deal is reportedly worth $100 million over 10 years.

 
So take that into account when Rory start raving about how “excited” he is with his new Taylormade gear.

“I like the contrast… I love how it aligns… I love the sound of it… I’ve been on the Tour for 10 years and I’ve never been as excited about equipment.”

When you’re getting paid $10M per year to promote something, you’re not exactly an unbiased source of information.
