Tiger Tweets a Thank You To… Himself

As was reported yesterday, Tiger Woods will return to competitive golf at the Hero World Challenge this December.

The unofficial Tour event is hosted by Woods and his Foundation, and Tiger himself picks the players who get to tee off in the Bahamas in the dead of winter for what amounts to a comped golf vacation and a guaranteed check for $100k.

Woods took to Twitter to announce his return to golf in a lighthearted way: “I’d like to thank the committee of 1 for picking myself and Daniel Berger to play in this years Hero World Challenge.”

Woods also thanked his fans for sticking by him during some, shall we say, trying times this past year.
