Stewart Hagestad, Justin Thomas’ favorite golfer of all time, birdied five of the last six holes in a huge come from behind victory in the championship match.

According to USGA.org, Hagestad earns an exemption into the next 10 U.S. Mid-Amateur Championships a “likely”invitation to the 2017 Masters, two U.S. Amateur Championships, and exempt into sectional qualifying for the 2017 U.S. Open. An impressive win that comes with a lot of perks.

And an equally impressive reaction from Thomas who clearly loves to root on Stewart. Perhaps the two will be paired together in the 2017 Masters? One can only hope.
