Weather Report: WGC-Dell Match Play

For the second week in a row, Jason Day be the defending champion, proving how dominant the former world number one performed in the early part of 2016.

Moving from Orlando to Austin (TX) for a World Golf Championship, the field gets a bit more exclusive, while the weather looks to be a bit more conducive.

The WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play will once again be played at the Pete Dye-designed Austin Country Club – a par-71 that measures 7,108 yards from the tips.

According to, Friday looks to be the only iffy day, with thunderstorms expected. Saturday appears to be the best day of the week with temps in the low 80s, amidst bright sunshine. Overall, the weather shouldn’t play a huge factor this week in Texas – especially with a limited field.
