YE Yang won his first major championship in epic fashion at the 2009 PGA Championship at Hazeltine. He became the first player to take down Tiger Woods at a major when leading after three rounds.

Since then, his career has been anything but epic.

Yang failed to win another tournament, and lost his tour card in 2014. He now plays primarily on the European Tour.

The bad luck has followed him there too. Take a look at this clip where Yang holes out from the rough, only to see it “thump” out, as the golf announcer says.

Here’s a look at it from the Instagram angle.

It hasn’t been all bad luck for Yang. Check this hole out from the bunker back in 2014 at the Shell Houston Open.
