The pairings and tee times for the final round of the 117th U.S. Open at Erin Hills have been released by the USGA. And if you’re FOX Sports you’re breathing a sigh of relief, after the two opening-rounds saw the biggest names flame out spectacularly.
On Saturday, Justin Thomas (-11), who already has three wins on the season, rose up the leaderboard, to provide some drama. The 24-year-old Kentucky native will be paired with 54-hole leader Brian Harman (-12) in the final group.
Patrick Reed, who became a household name at the Ryder Cup shot a 65 on Saturday and is at 8-under. He will be paired with Patrick Henley, the recent winner of the Shell Houston Open.
Another ‘name’ player in the hunt is Rickie Fowler (-10), who will be paired with PLAYERS champion, Si Woo Kim.
Other familiar names, at least to golf fans, include former FedEx Cup champs Bill Haas (2011) and Brandt Snedeker (2012), World No. 4 Hideki Matsuyama, and Brooks Koepka, member of the 2016 U.S. Ryder Cup team.
