Tee Times for the first two rounds of the 2017 WGC Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club have been released by the PGA Tour.
Most of the pairings here include a star or two, and would be considered a top group at any regular PGA Tour stop.
With that said, there are a two groups which certainly shine brighter than others, and include only world top 10 players – starting with the threesome of Jordan Spieth (No. 2), Rory McIlroy (No. 4) and Jason Day (No. 7).
The other top marquee group includes the two most recent winners of the U.S. Open, Brooks Koepka (No. 10) and Dustin Johnson (No. 1), alongside young Japanese star Hideki Matsuyama (No. 3).
The field in Akron is made up of only 78 players, with no cut down. Despite the limited sized field, the tournament will still send players off in groups of threes, and from both sets of tees.
