Key To Success

The Tour does not have Shot Link over in Malaysia so there are no real time scoring statistics to track. But Thomas once again got through TPC Kuala Lumpur’s own version of Amen Corner at 1-under, with a another birdie on the 13th. This gains one stroke on the field based on historical numbers. He also played the four par 5s under par for the second consecutive day.
Round One Amen Corner (11, 12, 13): -2
Round Two Amen Corner (11, 12, 13): -1

Quotable

“I didn’t play as well as I did yesterday. I drove it better which was good but I definitely had a couple iron shots and a couple wedges that I felt like I should have hit closer, but bogey-free is always good. I didn’t hit it very good my first seven holes, so I just kind of managed it around at 1-under and started playing better from there on in.”
