US Ryder Cup Fans Start Spine-Tingling Chant Before Opening Tee Shots

The chant “I believe that we will win!” kicked off the 2016 Ryder Cup.

Before the opening tee shots from Americans Jordan Speith and Patrick Reed, the US fans in the crowd surrounding the first tee box boomed with an electrifying chant.

Incredible moment and one that reminds the Europeans that they’re on our turf.

The Americans would go on to sweep the morning sessions. You can tell Spieth and Reed were amped up after their celebration on 16 when they wrapped things up.

Can’t wait to see what the fans have in store for the players on Day 2!
